Sweet potatoes ala Greek, a delicious way to stuff potatoes with all the Greek elements, like Feta cheese, Greek yogurt, dill and to create something so delicious!

Sweet potatoes are a gift from God with all the nutrients, they are little bullets of happiness, health, and so much more!

Please try to have them on a regular basis, they are so good for you!

Sweet potato Ala Greek-Litsa!

So many ways to stuff sweet potatoes, and here is mine! 

You will need,

2 sweet potatoes

2 tbsp butter

1 cup Feta chunks more if you like 

1 cup Greek yogurt

3 sprigs of dill finely chopped

2 fresh green onions finely chopped

Bacon cooked and cut into little pieces as much as you like

Here is what to do!

Wash the potatoes and dry them well

Pock them with a fork all over

Microwave them for 7 minutes on high

Let them cool and cut them lengthwise but not all the way through!

With a fork loosen the potato and add the butter and a little salt and pepper

Continue with the Feta, yogurt dill and onion and last add the bacon

Be generous, if your potatoes are very big you might need more cheese

Your sweet potatoes ala Greek are ready to compliment your protein, fish, meat, poultry or if you are a vegetarian they are a complete meal!

Divine shrimp with herbs.
Dill and Feta make this shrimp plate irresistible!

Great for Bruschetta  or a salad topping, finger food( Delicious)

 Here is what you need


Divine shrimp with herbs-Litsa!

20 shrimp shell removed and deveined

2 garlic cloves crushed

5 cherry tomatoes cut in half

½ cup dill chopped

1 fresh sweet corn or 1 cup from a can with no juice

½ cup white wine, it has to be good or it will make or break the recipe

A touch of salt and pepper, oregano, and a little sugar

Sprinkle with a little Feta cheese, please get the good one, real Greek Feta!

Here is How to make-Divine shrimp with herbs!

A touch of olive oil in a heavy pan with the garlic

Add the shrimp and everything else except wine and feta

Sauté for a few minutes add the wine, deglaze and cook for 3 more minutes, this recipe should not take more than 6 minutes. Always be careful with shrimp!
