We have been doing one-pot lemon pasta for a long time, we meaning Greek people…And here is my recipe for one-pot lemon pasta! This recipe is for 2
I remember that is how my father liked his Pasta. He was always hungry as all men are and this recipe was so fast and delicious. Just 15 minutes to satisfy a hungry man!
Now it is so much in demand and I decided to add my own take on the one pot Pasta.
With shrimp, and cooked clams, with a lemony taste that I love!
It takes no time at all and it is perfect for the very busy mom or dad!
Also if you are a student in a dorm this recipe is so perfect for you and on the reasonable side.
Ok then, here is my recipe
for one-pot lemon pasta!
- Ingredients
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups elbow pasta
- ½ lemons the juice
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Fresh Basil leaves
- 8 shrimp and as many clams as you like
Here is how
In a pan add a little oil and sauté the onion and garlic until sweaty, I do this step because I don’t like the uncooked feeling of the onion…Just a couple of minutes…
Add all the ingredients except the seafood in the pan and start the cooking process stirring the pasta.
2-3 minutes before pasta is done add the seafood and continue cooking until the seafood is cooked. It will take no more than 15 minutes to complete the meal and you will have a delicious pasta dish. A meal that you will adopt because it’s FAST and delicious…
One-pot lemon pasta is easy to do and so delicious!
Cheese with this recipe is optional!
