Individual trifles with caramelized apples
When you want a delicious dessert and you don’t have too much time on your hands, here is the solution!
Caramelized apples and chantilly cream are divine anytime!
Go ahead make it and you will be happy you did incredible taste!
Dessert for 4
- Ingredients
- 6 apples (golden delicious)
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 6 Tbsp sugar
- ½ cup brandy
- ½ Tsp cinnamon
- Chocolate marble pound cake from the supermarket
- Whip cream
Peel and core apples and cut them into small pieces
In heavy skillet add butter and melt over moderate heat
Incorporate apples, sugar and cinnamon cook for 3-4 min. and add brandy
Cook 1 more min. remove from heat and let cool before topping the trifle.
Cut pound cake into slices and use as a first layer, moisten cake with a little brandy.
Add a layer of whip cream and a little apple mixture add another layer of pound cake with a touch of brandy.
Top with whip cream and caramelized apples.

If pound cake is not available you can use chocolate chip cookies swiftly dipped in milk and sprayed with brandy.
