For the love of shrimp-Shrimp with garlic and wine!
I love shrimp and I will have them anyway and at any time…Shrimp with garlic and wine I adore!
I like them plain, with pasta, in saganaki and the list goes on and on…
Here is my very easy way to have some delicious shrimp tonight, along with some lemon pasta, comfort food in all its glory!

- 2 pounds fresh shrimp, deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil, and 1 tbsp butter
- 4-6 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 ½ cups white wine
- 1/2 lemon the juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- A little parsley finely cut for decoration
In a heavy frying pan add the oil butter and garlic, sauté for a few minutes paying close attention that the garlic doesn’t burn.
Add the shrimp and sauté until it starts to change color to a nice pink, a few minutes….
Add the wine and lemon juice, cook 2-3 minutes more, remove from heat. Sprinkle with parsley.
You can enjoy the shrimp like this or if you like add ½ OF a lemon the juice and your favorite cooked pasta…
Perfection if you are a shrimp and pasta lover.
Cheese is optional when we have seafood pasta.
