Karithata-Arahovas delicacies Litsa!

Little Treasures!

Karithata or Walnut sweets were my finds in my last visit to Greece.

It never fails to amaze me that every corner of this beloved country has something different to offer.

Every place I visit I am a little flavor detective always asking what the specialty of the place is.

And I always come away with something new and delicious.

Karithata is a very popular delicacy among other things. I love delicacies done with all kinds of nuts and this one made with Walnuts I adore. I also love them because they are so easy to make. They keep well and you can have something available all the time for the unexpected friend that drops by.
