Green Peas and Italian sausage

 

A complete meal or a side

  • Ingredients
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 small bunch green onions finely chopped
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 small bunch dill finely chopped
  • 2 Italian sausages cut in pieces
  • 3 potatoes’s cut in four
  • 1 carrot cut in roundels
  • 3 cups frozen green peas
  • 1 cup prepared tomato sauce
  • Salt, pepper and 1 tsp sugar
  • Water for cooking

In a cooking pot add the oil, onions and dill,saute for a few minutes. Add the sausage and continue a little longer.Add the vegetables and continue the process another 5 minutes on low heat.

Pour tomato sauce and water to cover.

Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

Cook for 20-25 minutes on medium heat.
