Miniature Koulourakia-Litsa!

Miniature Koulourakia are amazing with coffee or tea!

Easy to make and they are loved by young and old, great dippers! They keep well for a long time if they survive the hunt! Nice to have them available!

The recipe is quite big, don’t let it intimidate you it is done on purpose, they never last, they are very popular, they are so good that they disappear very fast! Remember if you want to have some for you, you have to put your name on them or hide them in a safe place!!LOL

  • Ingredients
  • 1 pound butter room temperature
  • 500 gr. 35% cream beat into whip cream and set aside
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 3 eggs-add one at a time
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 8 tsp Baking powder
  • 7 cups all-purpose flour

Put butter in mixer and whip a few minutes until nice and fluffy.

Continue beating and slowly add the sugar.

Add the eggs one at a time

Fold in the whipping cream and the rest of the ingredients

Add the flour and knead the mixture until nice and soft.

Take small amounts of dough in your hands and make small little braids.

Place in a cookie pan and bake for 20 min. at 300 over 100 pieces.
