Individual trifles with caramelized apples

Dessert for 4
6 apples (golden delicious)
3 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp sugar
½ cup brandy
½ Tsp cinnamon
Chocolate marble pound cake from the super market
Whip cream
Peel and core apples and cut them in small pieces
In heavy pan add butter and melt in moderate heat
Incorporate apples, sugar and cinnamon cook for 3-4 min. and add brandy
Cook 1 more min. remove from heat and let cool before topping the trifle.
Cut pound cake in slices and use as a first layer, moisten cake with a little brandy.
Add a layer of whip cream and another layer of pound cake with a touch of brandy.
Top with whip cream and caramelized apples.
