Hilopites with Chicken Litsa

Hilopites with Chicken  (Youvetsi)

Hilopites a traditional Greek pasta (comfort food ) children love this food (children friendly)

Just like Orzo we love hilopites!I remember growing up how proud the women were making hilopites and Trahana, using the best ingredients at the time!

They spend days making those homemade kinds of pasta!

Now you find them easy in the supermarket, but when I visit Greece I look for the homemade ones, they are still ladies making them and selling them privately!

The locals are there to help you with all this! Word of mouth advertising is very big in Greece!

This is a nice traditional Greek recipe, it works with Lamb, Veal, and Beef, you just have to cook the meat longer.

A Sunday meal for Greek families, So delicious! The correct name is Youvetsi
