Chicken with dill in tomato sauce, comfort food!
- Chicken sauté, Litsa!
- 1 Chicken cut in small portions remove all visible fat.
- 2 onions sliced.
- 10 sprigs dill finely chopped
- ¾ cup olive oil.
- 1 cup wine
- 1 can diced tomatoes.540 ml. 19 fl oz.
- Salt – pepper.
In a heavy pan add the oil and sauté lightly the onion and dill for 2 minutes.
Add chicken and continue the process in medium heat for a few more minutes.
Deglaze with the wine add the tomatoes and enough water to cover chicken, salt, and pepper and cook slowly for 25-30 minutes or until water evaporates and the sauce is nice and thick.
Serve over rice.
